Health Programs

When Jesus walked the earth, He ministered to the whole person - physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, and spiritually - through healing, teaching, and preaching. His own stated purpose in coming was that all "may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." He taught that the human body is a temple, holy, and set apart for God. It should be treated as sacred.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church is committed to following Christ's example. It is dedicated to promoting an integrated wellness lifestyle through needs-based, scientifically supported, and gospel-oriented educational materials and seminars.

We offer health seminars, vegetarian cooking classes, wellness, Breathe Free (a stop smoking seminar), and CHIP seminars.

CHIP, an acronym for Coronary Health Improvement Project, is an affordable, 30-day lifestyle education program with thousands of graduates worldwide. It is sponsored by local, certified leadership, is community based, and has a strong, ongoing support system. CHIP encourages a close working relationship with one's personal physician. Information about the CHIP program can be found at AdventistChip.org.
